Osho Afroz Meditation Center

OSHO Afroz Meditation Centeris located on the south west coast of the beautiful island of Lesvos. It is situated near the village of Eressos and rests gently in the natural valley of Psinia. Hidden among olive groves and surrounded by majestic volcanic mountains, it is just 2 km from the beach. It was founded in 1989 by Varidhi and is an ideal place to combine meditation and vacation.

The beach of Eressos is one of the most clean and beautiful in the Aegean Archipelago. It hosts bars, tavernas, coffee shops and water sports as well as quieter areas for isolation and nude bathing.

For the more adventurous it is possible to visit the less frequented beaches and interesting landmarks along the coastline. Bicycles, scooters and cars are easy to rent.

For those who wish to meditate, OSHO Afroz has an environment of safety, acceptance & awareness; a beautiful & powerful Energy-field that has been created throughout the years where one can relax and enjoy the vigorous energy of the nature that surround.

Meditation, inner harmony, dance, celebration and creativity are abundant in OSHO Afroz.

The Evening Meeting Meditation is held in the Buddha Groove; an open space shaded by an ancient oak tree. There are also three purpose built stone meditation halls: Gaia, Ouranus and Ilios. More informal and spontaneous activities are held under the night sky in the bar and its gardens.
